Default Tire guys!!!!!

I have a set of BOZE tach wheels on the way size 18x9.5 front 18x11.5 rear with a 6" shortened moser rear (3inches each side). I am trying to decide on a tire. Ideal size for the rear is 335/18/35 but the tire just does not seem to exist. So my other choices are 345/35/18, 335/30/18, or 315/35/18. The way the guy at Boze explained it is that my 11.5" wheels is actually 12" wide. So whats the best option here need to know as I need to order tires this week!!!!! Need to matcha pair of front tires 2... suggestions?

Go with the 345. I personally think more sidewall makes it look nice, and it is a bit wider. Don't know what he was talking about saying an 11.5" wheel is 12" wide, but a 345 would be perfect for you.

I like the idea of the 345 and if I am correct the wider 345 tire should help me hook up better right? Whats the advantage of a 345 over say the 315?

I worry that the 345 won't fit in the wheel well after after BFH, and grinded bumpstop, and will it slow the car down from what I have read the 345 setup is very heavy?

A 345 tire will have bulging sidewalls... depending on which tire brand you plan on using.

So if i choose the 345/35 is bulge bad, or is it going to slow my car down? Or will the 315 above going to surfice?

Look at the tire's design wheel width. I personally would recommend the 335/35's if you want a wider tire than 315/35's.

The 345 looks to be an inch taller.

Too much tire section width will also "pinch" the tire. It's not a look I would choose. I like my sidewalls to look uniform.

agreed, your tackling this a little backward. Personally i wouldnt choose a rim or tire that wide. I chose the tire sizes and sidewalls I wanted then backed into the rim size to get the right fit rim to tire. nothing worse then a tire thats to narrow OR to wide on the rim. looks rediculous. my personnal opinion is that tires over 315 look out of place on these cars anyway.

look at the tire and size and it will give the recommended wheel width threshold. Example, I chose a 305/30/19 and it has a 10.5-11.5 threshold. I like a little tire bulge on the side so I chose to buy 10.5" wide wheels.

On a 11.5" wheel? I know some are wide and some narrow but I can't see a 345 bulging a lot on it.

335/35/18 would be ideal, but no one makes that size

So it looks like its either a set of 335/30's or sticking with the 315/35's. The 315's look to fit just fine but the temptation of having bigger tires on the back is killing me, can anyone chime in and tell me if a 335 on 11.5 tire is doable? Or pictures would be perfect lol
