Default WHATS SMALLEST RIM FOR V1 REAR, custom offset??

What the smallest I can fit withouth moding brakes? Want to have some generic bassets or aero's made for rear.. 16"?

Can a special offset be done to stick the wheel out far enough that I could fit 305's? (Dont care if its sticking out fenders, just for strip)

Thanks!

I think the best your gonna be able to do is 17s with the brembos. If you wanna go smaller I know a few guys have stepped down to stock cts rear brakes. I also wouldnt worry about sticking a really wide tire under it. A good slick will hook just fine even if its not 13 inches wide and be easier on the drivetrain.

There isn't even 1/4" of clearance for the brembos with stock 18" wheels. 18" is the smallest without brake modifications.

As far as I know 18s are the smallest that will fit on V1 breakes. If you looking for a good tire combo for your power id look at M&H 275/45/18 DRs as thats what I have and I can get down about 750 hp in 3rd gear with 373 gears.

Or you can run the base cts breaks with vett hubs like im doing soon

You could go with a narrowed solid 9 inch and run a 15x10.75 with a 325/50/15.

Its going to take a lot of cuting to get a big tire and a solid axel in a V1. Not undoable but not easy by any means.

Im going to try and push the IFS as far as I can before I get the oxy torch out

17's do fit the back with the brembo brakes, however they have to be made specifically to clear the brembo brakes. The Weld RTS and the Bogarts are made to clear the rear brembo brakes. There are several camaros and V2's running these wheels with stock brakes.

Im 90% sure ive seen v2s running 17" wheels as a drag setup. Cheap 17" zr1 five spoke replicas to boot.
