Default New from Detroit/ LS2 SSR

As the title says, new to the site from Detroit and running an LS2 SSR.

Gonna be looking to see what modifications are suggested to wake up the engine and drop some time on stop light to stop light runs, which I am sure is tough given how heavy the truck is.

Not sure there are many people with SSR's on this site, but considering you've got TrailBlazer SS underpinnings, you might find some info. Enjoy beating on it!

Get a FAST 92 intake, it'll be a big improvement over the LS2 intake!
For headers a set of Kooks 1-7/8" headers, and a Tick performance 222/230 110lsa cam would offer plenty of hp/trq increase in a very street friendly power band, and also sound mean!

Have fun and enjoy your SSR!

Will a FAST 92 intake package? I keep hearing there are limits on room under the SSR hood as well as a lot of heat....

Yeah headers would be cool, and the Kooks are what I was thinking!

Anyone with suggestions in Detroit area on a place to swap rear axle gears {yeah I know this is a engine forum... }

The FAST 92 intake should fit without any issues, it not nearly a large as the FAST 102 intake.

For local shops in your area post it here.

you could also remove the ls2 heads and intake, then install ls3 heads and intake. sell the ls2 parts to recoupe some money back.
