push rod length for cc306/1.6rr
Ok fella's I have my motor back in and in the process of connecting the harness back up....I did a fresh bottom end with the cc306, cc pro mag 1.6rr, beehive springs, ported stock heads and intake, with pacesetter lt's with 3" y and back....well i was an idiot and didn't read the part details and only ordered 8 rr's so i had to order another 8 today, but my question is my heads aren't milled so will stock length hardened pushrods be ok? I planned on getting an adjustable one to find an exact number but no one has them in stock so i'd hate to have to order one.....wait.......then order the pushrods......then wait some more, but if necessary then so be it. I've read of people running 10's with stock pushrods and also read that some year lt1s came with hardened pushrods? sounds like bs to me but not sure. I've also got to get a tune and from what i've read i'm leaning towards ion from madz28? I'm soooo dying to see how this swap does against my girls ws6 ls1 lol....

Throw your stock PRs in an check the pattern. That should tell you something. Normally, no milling means the stock length PRs should be ok. You might want to consider upgrading the PRs anyway.
