Default Street Tires

I have a 1999 z/28 daily driver. I live in Houston TX so dry and hot most of the time with some wet diving. Size is 275/40R17. I am looking at Nitto Motive, or Kumho Ecsta 4X, or Cooper Zeon RS3-A, or BF Goodrich G-Force SS A/S. From what I have reseached all these seem about the same. Any big difference I am missing? Pro's Con's? Thanks.

I'd do the BFGoodrich.

Just know that they only last about 25,000 miles. And when they are about 50% worn, you're riding on the harder tread compound, and they become harsh, noisy and lose a lot of traction. They're really nice when new.

In your climate, I like Riken Raptors. A lot of guys bagged on them in a recent thread, but we run them in San Diego and they ride well, get good mileage, good traction, and are good in the wet. They don't seem to get noisy or harsh as they wear, either.

The BFG g Force Super Sport all seasons are NOT like B-Stone Blizzak snows which have a hard all season compound underneath the soft winter compound when they wear 50%.

Or did you mean that they just harden with age/wear/oxidation/ozone exposure, just like every other tire out there??
