Default Shorten LT1 B&M Ripper shifter throw?

My stock throw was about 10", the ripper brought it to about 7 and I love the feel, but I drove my brothers 00 TA and his throw was like 2-3"! I forgot what he had and I understand the lt and ls have different transmissions, but I want to get down to at least 4-5". I've been plagued by missing 4th gear at the track lately and maybe this would help. Any input?

No the Ls and the lt use the same t56 minus a clutch setup and midplate/bell. Any shifter that works on his will work on yours. With that said it almost sounds like he has a pro 5.0 with a short stick. Although I would sell that b&m and buy an mgw I've had both and there's no comparison

That's why...the MGW shifter has far shorter throws than a B&M Ripper. If you want that feel, you need to get that shifter. There's nothing you can do to a Ripper to make it feel like an MGW.

This.... Overall the mgw is a better shifter. And as I said an lt1 and the Ls use the same t56 trans

Well ****. I might try installing a short stick just to see, I really like the feel of my B&M but if this doesn't work I guess I'm going mgw.

He has an mgw with mgw stick not "stock" my bad.
