I was wondering how much quieter the helical gears are. I can't really find many videos with the helicals, and none that compare the 2... I am at a cross roads with quite a few options, procharger being 1... Any help would be great

its quite the difference between the two . with the louder set you can always tell and hear the whistle . With the quiet gear set sometime you cant even tell or hear it from the outside .

hmmm.... tempting... back and forth between procharger/maggie. on a basically stock 02 ws6. or sell it and buy a g8 gt and start from scratch... what to do...

The helical gearset really only eliminate the clattering noise the blower makes at idle, as the straight cut gears create a clattering sound at idle when there isn't much pressure applied to them.

A ProCharger is much easier to install on your 02 F Body that a Maggie, due to the engine being tucked under the firewall.
