Default Purchased the new MS3PRO for my turbo 5.3!

I ended up biting the bullet and bought the new MS3PRO from EFI source for my S475,5.3 bulid. I think for the features you can't beat the price $725 with the base wiring harness. Thanks to Denmah (Matt) It has boost control, traction control and many other features syuch as these:
•Supports speed density, alpha-N (TPS based), or MAF based fuel and spark tables
•1 microsecond injector pulse width resolution
•Tables for nonlinear injector behavior at small pulse widths
•Allows blending multiple load types, including specialized mode for independent throttle bodies
•Supports a wide variety of OEM cam and crank position sensors
•Individual cylinder trim tables for fuel and ignition
•Accelerator pump or model based acceleration enrichment
•Closed or open loop idle speed control
•Closed or open loop boost control with two separate wastegate outputs, and gear or speed based tuning options
•On/off or closed loop continuously variable valve timing (VVT) control - supports up to 4 channels
•On/off or progressive nitrous control
•Traction control by VSS or RPM
•Rally anti-lag with rotational idle
•Rotary support - can run up to 4 rotor engines with separate leading and trailing spark tables
•Staged injection
•Table switching
•16 x 16 fuel and spark tables - can be reconfigured to function as 30 x 16 or 16 x 30 by switching tables based on RPM or load
•2 or 3 step rev limiter (launch control) with no-lift shifting
•Wideband AFR target tables
•Flex fuel sensor input for easy switching between gasoline and E85 - can automatically change fuel, ignition, and boost maps based on ethanol content of gasoline
•Knock control with adjustable crank angle windowing can adjust sensitivity based on RPM or which cylinder is firing
•Allows repurposing injector or ignition outputs as general purpose outputs, or high current outputs as injector drivers for 12 cylinder sequential applications
•Real time barometric correction (external sensor required)
•A/C and cooling fan control with idle compensation
•Safety shutdown based on AFR or EGT input
•Sequential shift cut and air shifter control
•Diagnostics to detect and ignore failing sensors - can even automatically switch from speed density to alpha-N in the event of a MAP sensor failure

It's not designed for LS engines, I will have to buy connectors for the injectors, map etc.. Then just put the connectors on and trim the wires to make it fit correctly, not a plug and play harness.

Hey Matt would I be better off buying a stock LS1 harness to get connectors off or buy the individual connectors new? I could also go to a salvage yard but would rather just buy a used harness or the parts. Do you have any base tunes for the MS3pro or will the micro tunes work? Thanks Clint

I would appreciate if you would give me the tune you put in the turbo 5.3, I just need something to get it started, I have 80# injectors too, something I can use as a base tune. Thanks

It's ok Matt take your time, I won't have MS3Pro until later next week and I'm still needing fuel pumps so it will be a couple weeks until I'm ready.

could not start it today, i think his crank position sensor is bad, engine is cranking steadily and i get 0-130-0--0-0-120 rpm haha i have never had that happen before.
so we are gunna replace the crank position sensor and try again sunday

newb question: None of that ms3 software is self tuning correct? I like the idea of having it self adjust to changes alleviating the need for me to run to the tuner every time i change something

If im not mistaken denmah had a version like that I thought, it would self tune all the part throttle fuel trims for you....I could be completely wrong tho.

Yes you can do self learning on this setup for target AFR and it will adjust accordingly.

If you're using the full version of TunerStudio then yes it will self tune to a point. Its called VE analyze live. I am using this on my ms1 v2.2 flashed with the extra code.

Cool, I think the MS3pro comes with the Tuner studio but I'm sure Denmah can confirm this. The awesome thing is that I won't have to buy a boost control, 2-3 step, traction control or any other electronics! All this in one box, this has more features then the Holley setup!

This is the reason I am buying also! I'm pretty excited! If anyone has a base tune for 160lbers on E85 hook a brother up! Lol!
