Default Removing decals?

How do I remove the bowtie decals off of my SS 10-spokes? They're faded. One was faded real bad and I managed to take all the color out with bug & tar remover, but I'm not having any luck with the others. I tried rubbing alcohol, a toothpick, a hairdryer, fiberglass rubbing compound, bug & tar remover, and nothing will work. Please help me asap.

Thanks
Matt

I believe those are painted on the center caps. They're not like a decal that you could just use Goop or Greased Lightning on to get them to come off. There was a thread on here about a month ago from someone who had repainted the center caps on their SS 10 spokes.
