Talking My On3 Non AC Build

Little Background, I have had my 2000 Trans Am since 2008. Bought it after my 1999 Trans Am was totaled after being Rear ended By a H2 Hummer. I always Wanted to do a turbo Build but funds would never allow it. I finally Bite the bullet this winter and started ordering parts. The motor needed all new Gaskets and I figured if I was going that far just go all the way.

The Build

Tired of being harassed about my plate being mounted low.

New Tires hope to Install Tomorrow

I also picked up a 3.42 Rear to swap in this weekend, my 3.73s are just too much now. And I am waiting on Greg banish Tuning DVD so I can finish Dialing in the Car. Sorry some pictures are out of order. I hope to get some better Pictures this weekend. So far she is a beast. I haven't been able to get Traction, That's why I bought the Mickeys.

i also really like what you did for the hvac delete plate. i deleted my a/c and want to keep my heat as well, all you did was cut out that hole for the lines to come thru i assume?

I had to cut the HVAC Box Flush with the fire wall, Cut a passage for the air to flow and then fiber glassed that. Then cut a hole in the delete panel for the heater hoses. Its clean, Heat works Great. And access to the Spark plugs is great now. Theres a few write ups on the forum.

Are you required to run front plates on vehicles there?

Where I live, you only need to run them IF you have the needed mounting hardware installed on it.

Yes front tags are required. used to run it under the bumper but started getting harassed.

Not much for updates. It survived Cruising OC, Cranked the boost up to 10 Pounds. Big change going from 6 to 10 pounds. My Wideband stopped working by the end of that weekend, I think it has something to do with how close it is to the turbo. Need to get a new sensor and play with the tune some more, She is a bit fat at WOT. Might try to hit 75-80 drag way in a week or two.
