Good day all. Let's get down to business shall we? My Situation: (It is 70+ degrees out) When i go out for a 15+ minute drive that involves going 60+ mph the whole time. The Dilemma: I get back into town hear a God awful creak when i turn. Sounds almost like opening a creaky door slowly. Another dilemma that goes along with this is if I stop and then let off the brake it sounds as if my driveshaft pops. idk what it really is but something is surely making a popping noise. Also if I am stopped then i smell something horrible, almost like gas but it is not. These symptoms all go hand-in-hand by occurring at the same time.

Does anyone know of these symptoms, have an idea/fix, or way to start checking for crap. This will be the second year it has done this. Any suggestions?
I know there are some very smart people on these forums that could help me out

Bad odor usually stems from bad catalytic converter.

Also sounds like you've got a bad steering rack.
