Fueling & Injection - Fuel Question

A buddy of mine was told that his injectors are at like 114%. That I do not doubt because he is sitting at around 400rwhp. At the same time though they also said that he was running rich. Is this possible? I would think if injectors were completely maxed out that you would not be running rich but rather running lean. Please educate me. :huh:

its very possible he is rich around town, and at idle.

But the fuel runs out at the top of the gears, running lean.

sounds like he is a great canidate for larger injectors, and a dynotune.

Thanks! Now that does make sense and I can understand how that can happen. I was under the understanding that they told him that he was still running rich throughout the whole power band.
