Default 6.0 cylinder ????

Looking at a 6.0 today and I seen this mark/score on cylinder 1. Is it passable or what would you do?

Looks like it had water sitting in the cyl at some point almost. How deep is it? The hone looks like it didn't do much...

What are your end goals for the motor?

It will be na for a while and then about 12lbs of boost. You can definitely feel it in the cylinder wall.

Me personally I wouldn't mind too much, but the reality of it is you may not get perfect sealing on that cyl if it isn't smooth. Who did the hone and install of pistons? I would think they could have tried to clean it up a bit more while it was out.

Pass if you don't plan to clean it up. Rough surfaces won't do your rings any favors.
But a .005 or .010 hone should clean it up. Is there any ridge at the top of the bore?

Would I be able to reuse the pistons or would new ones be needed if I went with a .005 or .010 hone? There is no ridge at the top of the cylinder.

Out of curiosity, where's the crack? I'm fairly new to these, I can look at a conventional SBC or BBC and tell you where they're liable to crack, but not with LS engines - I'd kinda like to learn where these are prone to cracking.
