Default high revs = stiff clutch and raised pedal HELP

help me with my GMW track (road race) car.

below 5500 rpm. everything operates like it should.
above 5800 rpm under heavy load. i can feel the clutch pedal raise. when i go to shift, the clutch pedal is higher and very stiff. it ONLY happens at high rpms. i can beat the tar out of the car under 5500rpm and it NEVER happens. however, i can drive it like a grandma and then run 2nd gear to the end. go to push the clutch, HIGH pedal and STIFF as can be. it almost feels like the clutch hydraulics are getting pumped up with pressure!?!?!

What would cause this?

how do i fix it?

06 GTO LS2 / T56
tilton pedal box with triple masters.
tilton 3/4" master.
stainless clutch lines with remote bleeder.
stock clutch.
new stock throwout.
ate blue clutch fluid.
(fluid gets dirty after 1500 street miles.)

thanks in advance. this is my first LS motor but not the first time behind a wrench.

jason
