Question Two rear center brake lights, hate them how do I stop the glass light
I bought an 06 GTO and it has two middle brake lights. What do I need to do to turn off the rear glass brake lights and leave the spoiler light on?

I'm in the same boat w/ the SAP pkg. I cant wait to unplug that stupid redundant light this weekend!!!!!!!!!

Would it be illegal if I unplugged both center lights?

Yes, it is illegal to not have a third brake light on vehicles equipped with one from the factory. (Pretty much every vehicle 1986+)
