hit rev limiter with yank ss3600????
ok I was at the track and before the finish line I was slamming the rev limiter, I have 3600 stall, stock long block, 3.73, and 275-50 drag radials,
I ran it twice the second run I did in overdrive and it did the same thing, I have learned that its not good to lock a yank converter, I really do not want to change my gears and im seeing how fast I can get it stock longblock...
any ideas??? taller tire????

Just have the PCM tuned to lower your WOT shift MPH by a few; even 5mph is fine. This has to be done for any high stall converter because they slip a bit more than a stock converter.
A taller tire would make no difference unless you tuned for the taller tire and then you might even have a bit more slip. I tune my WOT shift MPH corresponding to about 6000 rpm, and then my WOT shift RPM for the desired RPM - anywhere from 6200 to 7000.
