fuel segment swap...guage works but is 1/4 tank off hey guys switch my 98 to an 02 computer and had the 02 van fuel segment swap done...guage works now but reads a 1/4 tank off. Havent had time to go thru the calibrations but was wondering if anyone would know where to start?

Not sure about cal values on a stock tank...but on my custom tank and custom sending unit, I just drained the tank and changed the corresponding tune file values to read "empty" when it was indeed empty. Then filled the tank 1/8, and changed the file values to output the correct signal for 1/8....then filled another 1/8 tank of fuel.....repeated the process until I got to "full".
Time consuming, but dead-accurate fuel readings now.
