Default New Kid

Not really a kid, lol. I'm from NW Indiana, I'm an instrumentation and electrical technician, I enjoy all makes of performance (except maybe Chrysler, sorry). Married twice, one son (9) and two stepsons (13 and 17).

I'm here to learn about the LS4. I'm going to put one into my Pontiac Fiero with the F40 transmission. I know SBFs pretty well, a bit about the Gen 2 SBC, but nothing about the LSx engines. Starting stock, but would eventually like to make up to 500hp. Now tell me how dumb I am...

Welcome TRMN8R!! You definitely have to keep us updated on your LS4/Fiero swap, that's gotta be a beast of a car when it's done right.

I'm a little discouraged at the lack of performance aftermarket for the LS4, but hey, back in the day there was no aftermarket, and those guys were resourceful enough to build their hot rods. The Fiero will be slow in coming, but I'll be sure to update what I do here on LS1 Tech. Thanks for the welcome!

Just discovered this thread.

How is your LS4 Fiero progressing?

Can you post some pictures?
