25 Cars Worth Waiting For: 2014–2017
In the April/May issue of Car and Driver.

The Mustang and Camaro shown are unofficial estimated renderings by private parties or provided by the manufacturers?
I looked online through previous years segments of "25 cars worth waiting.." and see they were spot on with a number of them.

I liked most of those cars and if they look the same for actual production, might actually by something new. The 'Cuda looks great, but I can already see that thing(in any real performance form) setting a buyer back at least $45k and over $50k for a top line version.
All three "pony" cars look worthy and I was really keen on the Camaro... till I saw the other two, which leads me right back to the idea that I could take any of them. With a solid TT V6 under hood, I really think the GNX will be worth a look, back to RWD, thankfully!

4C, Grand National, Camaro, and new WRX are interesting, the rest...pfft. I also doubt we'll have GNs here (unless GM pulls the badge engineering card once again and sells it as the Opel Senator).

Like the ATS, Buick's GN will offer the choice of a turbocharged 2.0-liter four (currently rated at 272 horsepower) or a 3.6-liter V-6 that makes 321 horses in the ATS. The wicked GNX, available only in the official shade of evil (black), will be powered by a twin-turbo dum3.6-liter V-6 that should be good for 400 horsepower. The transmission roster will include manuals for the turbo engines and automatics across the board. The eight-speed Hydra-Matic due in 2014 should serve nicely here."
Doesn't look like there's reason to doubt we'll have them here. If the story is correct, the deal is done. Since it would/will share a platform with many cars, offering this is nearly a 100% no-brainer for GM. The GN is the ONLY GM on that list I'm actually waiting to see, although I definitely like the Camaro.

I really really really hope the Camaro and Cuda look nothing like that.... Especially the Camaro. Disgusting.
Buick GNX would be a hell of a DD/family car if I could afford one which I can't.

Some of those are old and unofficial renderings.
Part of me doubts (and hopes) GM wouldn't put that grille on the Camaro because it has never shared a grille with another car, plus they've started moving away from that grille design a bit (new Impala and Traverse for example).
