My car has been dripping oil very slightly ever since i did my motor swap. there is oil on the bottom back side of the oil pan as well as a drip coming off of the bottom of the oil filter.

are these cars notorious for developing a leak in a certain area or is their anything i can do to see exactly where its coming from?

look around the oil pan gasket and above the filter there is a block
off plate for oil cooler.

also look up into the bellhousing as best you cand to check rear main and cover

Add oil dye and get a fluorescent light if you can.

Check torque on the pan bolts around the filter area that go up into the rear seal cover, there are 2 or 3 of them smaller than the other pan bolts, these can loosen up by themselves and cause a slow leak.
