friend of mine has a dynamic th400 with reverse valve body thats he is selling for $400 but thats all the info he has about it, came with a camaro he bought in the past so its been sitting for a bunch a years, would you pay $400 for it

I would bring it to a known local builder to see what was done to it. T-400s are not complex builds at all. The price is not bad at all providing it is still good.

I would definitely get it checked if it has been sitting for a long time. If it has a manual reverse pattern valvebody (especially if it has a transbrake), is in good shape and run then I would give $400 for it.

thanks no tranny brake but thats not a big deal at this point.

how could i check that tranny so see if its not a total loss, it is out of the car,the fluid does look good.
