Default Is it OK to remove the Heat Shield?

I am working on my 02 Camaro and the heat shield that protects the fuel lines and brake line on the drivers side is in the way.

I have LT headers that have been ceramic coated.

Would I have any problems removing the heat shield.

Any feedback form those of you that have removed it would be a help.

Thanks

Alot of people do it and dont really have any issues. Ceramic coated headers will help prevent from any of those lines getting damaged, but it doesnt mean they are 100% safe.

I rmvd most of my heat shields when I installed my lth's. the only one's I left are around the gas tank. I did this about 5 years ago and zero issues. also I did not notice any increase in heat inside the car.

I figured it would not be a problem but it's nice to have some confirmation.

Thanks
