Default 427 alum or iron for nitrous

wanting to build either a 440 lsx or 427. but idk if the iron is worth the extra weight. I know alum is a lot lighter but not as durable as the iron. im not going to be boosting. so no need for sleeving or anything. just would like a lot of input. I really wanna get this thing started and as much advice as possible

^^^^What he said, plus just to give you and idea, guys are spraying 300+ shots on aluminum LS1 blocks. You will blow a gasket or hurt a piston before you hurt the block.
