I'm thinking about going with the GM ASA cam(226/236 .525/.525 110 LSA). From reading the reviews on here, this seems like exactly what I'm looking for. However, I read a couple comments saying it was a difficult cam to get tuned for the street. The posts were years old though so I was wondering if that was still the case? Thanks for any help.

A famous tuner on here says single overlap digits, the one you are posting is 11*. I'm working on my 10.5* overlap cam at this time & it's not bad.......I'm very cranky regarding shitty driving manners. It's really what is acceptable to you as the owner & manner's.

I like the parking lot style crusing, low gear & lite loads. Not being pitched out the side winder

I've done a couple - they aren't that bad... Idle takes a little more time than some, but not bad.

What converter are you running? That can make a difference with an A4...

I'm looking at a 3000/3200 stall, maybe a 3600. I do a lot of city driving and I might go to the track 3 times a year so I don't wanna get a huge stall.

Its really not bad to tune at all. There are much better cams out there if you haven't bought that one already.

Yes I know there are "better" cams out there, depending on what you're trying to do with the car. Mines a DD with 75% city driving. I'm not looking for the biggest baddest cam. I just want a little more USABLE horsepower and this cam is very easy on the valvetrain.
