First, that was HILARIOUS!!! Second, I never knew that brakes can just catch fire like that, I was wondering how much braking does it take to make brakes go on fire like that?? or are his just cheap brakes and that's why they did that??

No supposedly in the video they said they were Hawk HPS's.
Also, from what a mechanic friend of mine said...Neons have horrible brakes from the factory. I don't know why but they tend to really eat pads.

Actually, I'm 33. Everytime I see a college age kid driving a compact POS they are doing stupid shit as seen in the video posted above. What would happen if one of the rotors would have came apart and sent the car into oncoming traffic when he hit the brakes and killed someone??

It's stupid irresponsible shit like that, that pisses me off.

Midget car for a mental midget I guess. I can't believe he kept racing after that. No checking the brake lines or for other damage. No I also like the racing with the oncoming car on the two lane road shortly after the shutdown. That makes them all dumbasses.

The best thing he could've done for those brakes is just to get in and drive to let them cool. If he would've pee'd on them the rotors would've cracked + that wouldn't have smelled very good ;)
