E92 Supported by EFILive
Looks like the EFILive guys have been busy and have added read/flash capability of the all new E92 controller. It is used in the 2014 model trucks and also the new Corvette. Mapping is underway right now, and they are looking for as many read files as possible to try and get all the operating systems built for us.
This is great news since all the hoopla about the E92 being untouchable blah blah.
From the EFILive newsletter:
E92 ECM Read and Write Support Now Available
EFILive is pleased to announce our May 20th, 2013 software update contains read and flash support for the all new E92 ECM as used in the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
This ECM is being used in-conjunction with the new EcoTec3 family of engines covering the 4.3L V6 as well as the 5.3L and 6.2L V8's, with 2014 trucks hitting the dealers lots earlier this month. This controller will also be used in the 2014 Corvette due to be released later this year along with other 2014 SIDI vehicles.
The E92 is GM's next generation controller packing 4Mb of flash memory, with 512K of that dedicated to calibrations alone. Read time for this E92 with EFILive is under 4 minutes, and calibration reflashes are completed in just over 30 seconds.
Mapping for tuning support has already commenced, however additional E92 controller reads are encouraged to ensure adequate operating system coverage for our first tuning release. E92 reads can now be submitted to support@efilive.com.

Can't wait to see one. Lets hope they didn't make our life harder with a virtual MAF or something silly

Referring to this momentus thread where genius robot Bigg Gunz made claims of the E92 being totally uncrackable - the E92 is when it comes down to it, a pretty regular GM ECM. fortunately.

Apparently these new ECM's do have virtual crank timing sensing. Seriously. Real sensor, but they predictively estimate the position of the crank far more accurately based on the previous timing events.
