What if one of those car he was passing, going over 100 mph faster than them, switched lanes or an animal ran out in front of them and they swerved? That was a bad choice of roads to do a high speed run.

The record in an 03 is 178 MPH dead stock, just raised the speed limiter. Once I get my new tires, I'm gonna try 175 MPH and then thats it :)

I realize you are just trying to document the top speed, but how about showing the fucking speed, then video the road for a few seconds. If I want to watch a needle all day long, I'll stare at a clock.

sweet vid! be careful when going for the 175 ... I've had mine up to 178 once (according to my GPS, this was when I was head/cam) and it got scary fast... fortuanetly I was the only car on the road... but just be careful...

I guess that vid was cool, but did you have to do it in traffic? When the camera man pans to the road (thankfully-I was sick of the speedo!) I can see you flying by other cars. I'm glad you have a fast car, but what if someone wasn't paying attention and drifted into your lane? We wouldn't be reading this post, we'd be seeing another reason why "hot-rodders" are hated and dead on the nightly news. :confused:
