99 PONTIAC T/A

I just upgraded my stock (bought it new) LS1 '99 T/A with oem ram air hood and cold air intake. Question is what is to connect to this fitting pictured on the resonator? If its not essential, should it be blocked off or switch the resonator back to the stock unit that does not have that fitting?

That is an air fitting used on 00' to 02' cars. You do not need it on your 99'. You can block it off or use your stock resonator.
