Default Choosing the right heads and cam combination

Whats up guys? I have another question and its one that has been stumping me for a while.
I have been looking into heads and a cam for my LS1 but I'm not completely certain on what all the numbers mean and what type of package would be better for a daily driver while still putting down some great horsepower to beat the punks that try the bird. If you would, I would really appreciate your input and advice.

Well first of all, how much do you want to spend here?

Oh wow, well in that case you have TONS to choose from lol. If you really want some high dollar top end heads then maybe something like Trickflow's or AFR's. For 15k you could do a stroker, blower, turbo, etc lol

Well I wouldn't mind being able to do it for less but I don't want to go cheap and pay for it later and I want to use my stock block. I'm curious about the number combinations that come with heads and a cam and if I can put any combination together or does a certain cam have specific heads? Those sort of things.

contact Tony Mamo ,he is a engine god.some AFR 210 heads with a cam from Tony M,and a fast 102 intake mite 475 rwhp.some trick flow heads with a EPS cam can make 470 rwhp.do you want to retain your current ls1 ,or install a bigger cube ls2 motor like 402 + CI stroker .a stock ls1 can be stroked to 383 cubes ,with the right top end combo you can make 525 hp NA.or look at a ls3 based motor .check out Texas Speed site for engine combos ideas.you can do a blower or turbo for your current ls1.
