Default Reverse lockout & engine sensor fuse

I'm trying to work thru a problem with Engine sensor fuse blowing and having to force shifter into reverse... I did a search and started investigating the o2 wiring for burnt wires and came across a couple things... The car has long tubes so the rear O2's are not existing. I unplugged this connector that was on the side of the t56 and its all burnt up. The o2 connector was just cut off and taped up. Is this connector for the reverse lockout?

It's the backup lights connector... Is that connector on the engine sensor circuit or the lighting circuit?
