Default Help! Randomly Pushing water out the overflow

I have a Camaro with a p1sc. Just recently switched to an aster bracket, which you also have to change to a ls2 water pump. Went to take the car to a car show and it started blowing water out the over flow. Took the thermostat out and ran it. Still pushed water out. Took the belt off and it still pushed water out. So I went home and put head gaskets on it.

Now I can drive it for a while with no issues. Drove it to work today and it pushed water out the over flow when I parked. I did not even hit boost today.

The other day I let it run for 30 mins at my house, drove it around and no issues. Then went to pick up my GF and it spit out when I got to her house.

What could the issue be to where it would not happen all the time?

Any help would be appreciated.

Might just have air in it, jack up the front as high as you can and run the car with the cap off.

Did you accidentally switch the radiator overflow tube with the steam vent tube? They are right over one another on the radiator under the cap. I did this same thing and had the same symptoms you are describing. If they are switched your cooling system won't pressurize.

That's funny. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
