Default last of breed badge?

I'm not asking where to buy them lol, just curious though are they meant only for the 2002? Because I saw a 99 or 98 ws6 with that badGe on it today and I was just wondering if it was out of place or not lol

Some people will say its their car they can put what ever they want on it.

Then others will say since the 98-02s were the last generation then its ok for any of them.

Then others will say that since the 02s were THE LAST OF THE BREED, and it does say 1967-2002 on the badge, AND the certificate that comes with the badges says congratulations on purchasing a Firebird from the LAST YEAR OF PRODUCTION on it they are meant for 2002 cars only.

Then even more people say they are out of place on any of them because they aren't factory pieces rather dealer add ons at best.

I tend to agree with the last two groups....I would never dream of putting them on anything but a 2002. But as far as that goes I wouldn't put them on a 02 either because they look out of place IMO.

I tend to agree with this. I have never considered putting one on either of my 01's and now that i have an 02 i cant get myself to put one on it either.

I'm in on the same, with the last two groups that were listed.

I got a set back in the day and mounted it for display in my entertainment room

I'd say they are very appropriate for 98-02. The ones I would get for my 02 would be the silver and black. Perfectly mounted in just the right spot on the front fenders.

Made by the same outfit that did the NHRA Edition badging. I bought a set from them several years ago on ebay.

Well the fact that it says right on the certificate Thanku for buying the final production year, it kinda kills it for me wanting to put it on anything unless its an 02 lol

Lol. Still 98-02 was technically the last of the breed. Lol. Either way works. Never selling my 02.

I put them on, it's a conversation starter. But I like the key ring most.
