Default Fog lights, gauge lights and tail lights not working after HU install

Hey guys just like the title says I just put in my HU and everything works great except for these three things. I did a search and read that it might be due to the factory stereo lighting still being plugged in? Has anyone had this problem?

Well it was a blown tail lps fuse. Took me two seconds after I pulled up an old thread on here. Anyone know why that fuse might have blown with that HU install?

not sure why it happened but 99.9% of the time all those lights are out at the same time it is that fuse, the other .1% it is the dimmer switch (but then its only the dash lights), maybe you shorted something during the install.

Yea that's what I was thinking. Everything works perfect now. Do you think it's something I might need to check on with the wiring? I tucked all my wires back real good and made sure not to pinch anything.
