What's a good brand for a stall converter?
Looking for a stall converter for the GMPP ASA Cam, power range is 2500-6500. So I want a 2800-3200 stall. Not sure which brands are good or anything that I should be looking for in the stall. Car is a DD with about 75% city driving. I'll be putting in 3.42's also.
I'm interested in the ACC Performance Night Stalker 2800-3200. Anyone use this or this brand? http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...que-converter/

There are 100+ threads on converter choices.
Here are some to check:

I have never heard of the brand you mentioned. I would suggest going to at least a $500 converter from sponsors Revmax or Circle D, who also answer many questions here and are highly regarded. Even better is spend $700-$800 on a converter from Renvmax, Circle D or Yank.

Are you saying Revmax doesn't sell quality products? Or are you just tryna say in general not to be cheap? I wasn't looking to go the cheap route but compared to others, Revmax has some great prices.

Make sure whatever company you go with has good customer service. I loved my ss3600, and even though i bought it used dave at yank got back with me almost immediately everytime. I tried to contact both revmax and FTI through they're sites a week ago, and still have yet to hear back.

Can't go Wong with Chris @circle d or Greg at FTI!!! I ran a circle d 4200 on my 4l60e. For my th350 I went with Greg at FTI. I also email Greg at FTI and always got a respond the following morning. I never had a problem.

Yank and Precision build quality converters as well.
Then you have Coan, ATI, and Neal Chance if you're more into all out drag.
Most will tell you for a 4L60E though it really comes down to CircleD, Yank, and FTI. They drive fantastic on the street and perform at the track. Also, all three of them provide some level of customization for your personal driving style/goals, with FTI and CircleD building each one for you.

Couple silly posts... One in particular stood out to me. I'll keep them to myself however.
My opinion by a long shot, PTC (located in Alabama).
After that I would have to look to FTI. After that... Toss up between a couple different companies some above others for one reason but then get knocked way down for other reasons.
