Help With Tuning Dyno Attachted Plug Pictures Soon
I had my car tuned last summer and took it to the track and ran 11.44 @ 121mph shitty prep and very windy sprayed off the line. This tuner is apparently very good the owner of nitrous express drove from texas to Canada to have his 500 shot car tuned by the guy that tuned my car. I don't like how my dyno print outs don't have a/f chart. Plus low tq numbers but I think that is because started spraying at 4000rpm. And he simply put the wideband on my tail pipes but he assured me that he accounts for the +/- difference? I have no idea what my timing is at and I don't think I can find out either I originally told him I wanted it tuned for 150 shot but when I picked my car up it had only 100 shot and he advised me that 150 will be pushing it. Started spraying at 4000rpm and stopped the pull at 6000rpm when it seemed to still be building power. All in all I would like to pull my plugs next week and get your guys is help in reading them.
Some off the mods are m6 Cam Headers true duals Nitrous Outlet Plate System with all the goodies br7s 4.11s

pulling the plugs out that you have been driving around on is not how plug reading works.
You have to make a pull, no idle before and shut it off after, on a new set of plugs, in order to read them...
480/500 on a 100 shot cam only car (well+gears) seems in the ballpark to me.
and if you dont have some simple things like ARP rod bolts and upgraded valvetrain with that cam (you didnt mention, I would 'assume' you do though) and depending on how many miles you have, a 100 shot might be the safe bet...

Yes I will put new plugs in and pull them after run. How important is it that there is zero idle time? I usually let my car warm up for little bit before going wot lol. Also if i drive 1 mile then do a pull will that screw up reading the plugs? Is it absolutely necessary to pull all 8 plugs? I have to pull one from underneath fml.......
I have updated springs good to 650 lift no to arp rod bolts.
How can I check my timing? Tuner used efi live would I have to go back to him?
I never got a graph with a/f Brandon
Finding a new tuner requires going on a road trip 500 plus miles or buying hp tuners and doing it myself
Fuel isn't a issue racetronics pump with hotwire kit installed.
My tuner told me he pulled enough timing for 150 lol but said it would be pushing it.
I either have a really good tune or crap If the owner of nitrous express drove 1800miles one way to get his car tuned shouldn't that mean something maybe he can chime in
