They make a spray on one now. Looks pretty cool. Peals off like plastidip when you want to remove

As someone who paid to have the 3M bra applied, this looks to me to be the right solution for your mirror. It's just so simple.

Dang it, you got my hopes up!!! Thought there may be a new bra that I could get for my wife or girlfriend. All kidding aside I put a Teflon coating on my wife's car and the bugs and grime rinse off with a water hose an nothing more. It says you shouldn't use any soap while washing only water. Its made for aircraft and is fairly expensive but worth it.
