Default New best for the ole mustang

well changed intake to open plenum had problems my carb not big enough,,, well traded for an e85 carb and its little to big for my bone stock motor,,, so decided to put the dual plane intake and carb back like it was last year,,, well finally went a 6.86 with a 1.46 60ft... so all the suspension stuff I did over the winter payed off.. best ive run at the track I ran at last night(last year) was a 7.00.. still this is a 110,000 mile bone stock motor....

Nice, makes me want to get the weight out and some deeper gears badly. Not to mention my tight converter fixed.

Your faster than me with no cam, but im sure the weight difference and the gears is the huge factor. If i could get anywhere near that weight i would be happy/.

.windmill is a hell of a drag racer...I've learned a lot from him, lucky to get to race with him. He gets his car to a science.

Zones, iirc you have a fairly large can in your car. If so and you shift it in the 6800-7000 range it needs to flash to around 5000-5200 to be optimal. PTC has helped me a bunch getting mine just right
