Default 1999 Corvette FRC

Just trying to get an idea on how much a 1999 black on black Frc corvette is worth. The car has 38k miles, is in perfect condition and has an intake and exhaust.
Thanks for the help
Ian

If selling or buying and truly in 'excellent' condition you will be in the high teens ($17,000 - $19,000) for most 'private party' sales. If the car is a one or two owner with paperwork and maintenance records since day 1, garage-kept, absolutely no issues, I could see the car being sold or bought for about $20,000.

About spot on... People would ask a tad higher but they indeed would be high on their price. It would sell for what NC01TA stated.

You would have to find the right buyer for 19-20.. 17-18 is what I could see it selling for unless you hold out for a long time.

Cougaar55,

I have been looking for an FRC for about 1 1/2 years, specifically Nassau Blue, White, or Pewter. I just looked at a pewter one today with 56,700 miles. The owner wanted $16,000. I would put this one in the average catergory. The interior was nice, shifted, and drove very nice but the door had been re-skinned, over spray on some of the weather stripping and rear glass molding. The inner door shell and jamb area needed some work to make it correct and that would mean door removal and repainting over the previous job. The sail panel had a blend line in the base, the blend was close but I could see it because it was overcast. He came down to $15,000 and I offered him 13,500. According to NADA the average retail on this car was $13,375, full dealer retail was $16,100. My opinon is that one cannot get more than what something is worth. I sold my 2000 Camaro with some mild mods for $7,500 full retail was $9,300. The economy and $4.00/gal+ premium fuel make it not a great time to sell cars like these even though we are different from the general public; value is still value.
My opinion is that if your car is truly that "nice" asking and maybe getting $16-17,000 is in the ball park, slightly on the higher side, but in there. To bad black is such a bugger to keep clean where I live, some gravel, lots of rain, and bugs. Yours sounds like a nice one, FRC's rock, and good luck on the sale.

Greg
