Default getting a/c and heat

how are people going about getting a/c and heat in there conversion vehicles?
i have a 69 chevelle that did not come with a/c and am now doing a ls swap and want to have a/c and heat. can i use it from a donor vehicle or do i need to purchase an aftermarket setup? any help would be great

I'm not 100% sure, but i would think it would be as cheap, if not cheaper and tighter packaging to go with Vintage or another aftermarket. I wouldn't want a used system from something that old not knowing how it was cared for either. Moisture is it's friend. Just my guess.

I just worked with these guys at Classic Auto Air in Tampa last week. They helped us with AC in our LS swapped Dodge Dakota, but they sell exactly what you are looking for. And their customer service is excellent.

I used a Kwik AC bracket for the Sanden compressor.

classic auto air or vintage air, which ever one fits your build better.
