i believe my pcm has gone out and was wondering if any 1 has had any experience with the units sold on ebay from 50-80 bucks with a 2-3 year warranty ?

they say they will flash your vin number to the computer
if it doesn't work then they will trade it out

also is there any steps that will need to be done to have the new computer learn the car, and will not having a egr effect anything ?

I just got one from coolmike222 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/261181159392...84.m1439.l2649). It works just like my stock PCM with the VIN coded in it. It quickly learned and I did not have to do anything special. As long as you get the correct PCM for your car and year, you should be ok.
