Just bought a 2001 Ls1 with long tube headers and it has a service engine light. I had it checked at autozone and it threw 11 errors saying all the o2 sensors were bad. Ive read some problems with long tube headers and i dont have a lot of knowledge with mechanics.

My car would throw those exact codes all the time before I had a mail order tune done after my headers. I would try that first. Also, do you still have rear O2 sensors? Most of the time with longtubes those sensors get deleted which also will cause a service engine light until you get a tune.

It's just a simple mail order PCM tune, just Google "Tuned by Frost". He's a sponsor here and the one who did mine.

A tune will take care of the rears, and set the fronts to no report if they are in fact working properly.
