Default Toxic c6 vs LSX Foxbody

Ill start out by saying don't let people who don't know what the F*** they are doing flag especially when there is money on the line. Well guy has a lsx foxbody with spray won't give me anything on spray and wanted me to give him the hit on motor. So I said F it ill just run you heads up I don't care if you are on spray.

That wasn't so bad run what you brung ya know! I didn't have time to prep the street so I did a burnout( I usually don't do a burnout cause it overheats my clutch). That was my first mistake cause I still spun anyway.

Then we get lined up flagman doesn't even ask if we are ready just runs to the side off the road turns around real quick and throws his hands up WTF.

The mustang was obviously more ready than I was and gets a considerable jump on me and me being bewildered by what just happened I just take off. Well I stop his pull in second then go to shift to third get nothing but a big grind from the slave cylinder not fully releasing the clutch.

Well I payed the man and went on my way. I then offered to run the guy today again same race same money, but the dude sold the car just a few hours after we raced so the rematch is probably not going to happen.

In the end you can't win them all.

I just think that the car/clutch can't handle the amount of power with you spraying. But that's just me.

Toxic, to clarify... You were on motor, he was on spray?

He definitely got the move on you...and after you missing 3rd, it was done...no way you could make that up...especially if you were on motor.

I love that race road tho... That's freakin awesome.. Nice concrete road and nothing around you.

Yea I was motor he was on spray. You can hear him grab the kit in first. If we got a even start I think I can beat him.
That road is awesome especially when I prep it.

So is the pedal sticking to the floor when you shift?

Wouldn't that be hydraulics's?

pedal not sticking. push pedal down and clutch doesn't fully disengage so it won't let me into the gear I have to pump the clutch to go into the gear. its the ls9 slave cylinder that had a recall on them for failing.

Good run and i feel you on the gear grind with the clutch pedal on the floor. In my case its the slave not strong enough for the rpm i spin... but very commonly does it just grind when i reach for second gear even with the clutch pedal all the way to the floor. Main reason you wont see any track passes out of me till the trans comes out. Either way, you have a hell of a car. Like you said, cant win them all.

Yup same problem I'm having push clutch pedal to the floor and it just won't let you into the gear at high rpm. Pump it and will go in. I'm looking into doing the tilton slave cylinder but its 900 for it. I just want to bang gears again haha.

I already have it. I run motul rbf600 fluid and have dei hose wrap on the line to make sure header doesn't heat up the line. I've done everything only thing left to do is slave cylinder.
