Default CDT Component Tweeter Mount ?

Those who have the CDT components in the doors of your firebird or trans am, how did you mount the tweeters?

There was a screw that held in the stock tweeter, but doesn't seem to work the for the new ones.

Any help would be appreciated

I mounted mine with a little hot glue. I'm about to remove them from there and mount them on the a-pillar though.

Double sided tape, the kind used for exterior moldings.

You can get one online or at your local hobby shop for under $10. I think even Wal Mart carries them. Handy thing to have around for a variety of projects.

Um I just put the CDT tweeters in this past weekend. Unscrewed the stock one and just jammed the CDT tweeter in it's place...it was really snug, no screws, glue, tape, or anything.

The CDT tweeter will be attached to the metal bracket using some 3M double sided trim tape. It has a red backing and is gray. This is the same tape that is used to hold emblems on cars so it will hold indefinitely.

The CDT components I got came in the Kee Audio package. It fit perfectly.

Edit: I got the Level 2 package if that matters.
