Default Opinions of these eBay headers before I bite?

Here's the link:

The seller has good feedback, looks like he sells alot of stuff. These are going for 191 SHIPPED. I'm on a budget but I won't put just anything on my car. What do you guys think about these? Too good to be true? I"m about to buy these now before I spend all my money on beer and cigarettes lol.

Anybody have these? It shows 42 have sold, maybe I might get lucky and run into someone on here who has these?

I'm just looking for some decent power gains and some good sound. If I can get these LT's and the eBay True duals that was talked about in another thread for 289 that be a damn good start for a budget build. Just have to get the muffler, in total I"m looking at

Here's a different listing that comes with band clamps and o2 extensions:

I have these on my car. Its a great header. Installation went easy. Just make sure you install poly mounts and reuse your OEM GM header gasket or get new OEM ones. Also being stainless steel it won't rust and for the price you can't be beat it.

I was little than a week off from ordering a set of ebay headers when some things popped up that took importance over go fast parts. I would look for one that has the bolts, clamps and gaskets, although you will want to get OEM gaskets. Also, I have heard to make sure the 02 bungs are on the inside of the collector.

Those go on sale for $182 shipped all the time. They come with crappy gaskets (I purchased OE GM gaskets) and cheap header studs (I bought nice stainless ones from "alpermotorsports" for $30). While the picture shows the bungs in the correct location, the set I ordered a few weeks ago were on the outside. I purchased a pair of stainless bungs for $7 from the seller "boostcontroller" (or something like that). I'm taking them to a local guy to have the AIR fittings removed and the bungs put on the inside. The good thing is it comes with bung plugs (that sounds weird...), so I'll have four bungs on mine so it'll be super easy to plug in a wideband.

At the end of the day, these are less than $200 for stainless long tubes. I'm mating mine to a TSP y-pipe, so for like $350 I'll have a nice setup. Granted, it's not the "best," but it's also a grand less than the default "buy ARH 1 7/8!" that the millionaires profess.

EDIT: I've since made a discovery about these headers... https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...primaries.html

Bought used kooks w/ORY for $550. Buy the best header you can afford. I spent $200 on used SLP headers 6 years ago and it was miserable.

Another positive vote for SS Ebay headers! I bought a set for my 73' Nova swap. It took some work and Torchin' Love and Care but they fit my Nova very well. Like Demonspeed stated, I am not a millionare and could not bring myself to spend $700 to $10,000 for headers! So far with only 3 weekd run time I am very happy with the performance and appearance on them.

GO FOR IT!
