Question 92/92 with 85maf tubing help!

hey guys I have a 92/92 set up on my ls1 that's in my 69 Camaro am going to run the truck 85maf but cant find the best way of tubing to use.. when I had the stock ls1 75maf r 78maf cant remember which one it was on there I had a rubber fitting 4inch-3inch an I got it to work but now the 85maf just wont fit the rubber fitting I have an I have looked at lowes an online at other places an intakehoses.com but still no luck can anyone get me some info r if someone did this set up tell me how u all did it.. I know someone out there has done this setup...

am going to need a 90* at the tb then like 2 feet of straight tube then I want to get a big air filter to get some air to it. should I put the 85maf in the straight area of the tube to get a better tune on it?

thanks for any info

4" tubing fits on the 85mm MAF. It goes on loose but tightens up very nice.

I picked up a 4inch to 3 inch to try it out from lowes the 4inch size was little loose but did tighten up good so I didn't even try on the 85mm maf thought it be to loose an let air Leak.

Ill get another one an an try it again

Is it ok the put the maf at the 90*. R should I put it in the Straight part befor the Filter?

You want it in the straightest part before the bends
