sorry for the dumb question, ive searched but its hard to search for something when you dont know what it is. i bought the block like this, trying to figure out why he blocked it off. can someone tell me what goes here?

it can be relocated to the pan/filter area..

thank for the help, im going to swap it out with a new one. does the PCM read the sensor or can i delete it. im running and after market one since the motor is going in a non gm based car?
