Default 02 LQ4 value..

my buddy has a 02 LQ4 with 256,000 miles on it. It comes with every thing, all accessories, wiring harness, manifolds... every thing. He said it used a little oil between changes but didnt burn it, the plugs were not bad when he pulled them. so not to sure on the oil use diagnosis. He wants $500 for it. I would be using it as a core block to put a rotating assembly in, and probably sell off the other parts i didnt need.

Is $500 too much?

If all you want is the block, you can buy seasoned/ machined 6.0l blocks from summit now for $600. I paid $400 for a running high mile LQ4 similar to what you are describing.

Pass, you can find low mileage 80-100k ones for 6-800 if you keep your eye out on carpart.com
