Default Converter lock up switch...

Who here is running one?

I have a fully built 4L60E with a vig 3800 stall and Im intrested in a converter lock up switch, anyone on here got one? or have a wiring diagram that I could use to know where to tap in at? thanks guys.

hard info to come by...i did a search once and didnt find a good diagram or instructions...

I'm running one on my 2000. I'll take a look at the wire when I get home and let you know which one it is on my car. It's actually an easy mod to do..

you will need to look at a pin out diagram of your pcm and determine which pin controls the converter lock up. Splice a wire into the wire that leads from that pin and run it to a switch. From the switch the other wire goes to a ground. When you hit the switch it grounds the wire and locks the converter.

2002 Pinout Chart

On my car, a 1998 it was pin 32 on the blue harnes the TCC enable control pin, a tan and black wire. Not sure what that corresponds to in a 2002 though
