Default ok to mount street/strip fuel pump upside down?

I have the aeromotive street/strip 11213 pump.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/AEI-11213

i'm mounting it on my s10 and the best place to mount requires me to flip it upside down. is it ok to run these pumps upside down/sideways/crooked/any other way than perfectly straight up and down?

while I have a thread open...I just added O-rings to both filters and mounted them directly to the fuel pump...is this method OK? it's female fittings on the pump and the fuel filters have male AN fittings...I just grabbed the O-rings off of some other fittings and slipped them onto the filters. I only ask because the fittings were flat on the end of the threads and the fuel fittings had the AN style beveled ends.

I would just make it mount correct just in case. Just make a bracket that will let it hang the way it should be for sure. But, someone may have other advise.

Call aeromotive. They made it, I'd trust their opinion over anyone else.
