Most SFI flexplates are thicker and you need longer bolts.
IIRC the stock bolts are only 12mm and you probably need 18mm.
CircleD sells a wide variety of converter bolts including ones from ARP.

I just use hardware-store 1cm (25mm) long fine-thread bolts with a 9.8 or 10.8 hardness. I add a very thick hardened washer (about 3mm) under the head. If doing this, first make measurements to ensure the bolt doesn't bottom out in the converter before it reaches full torque; allow about 1 fine thread for stretch.

Update - This is for flexplate to converter. Not what you wanted.

The ones I listed are for the flexplate to crank.

Converter bolts are ARP 230-7304 Torque Converter Bolts.

It is slightly thicker then stock but the stockers are 10.9 grade IIRC and should hold no problem.
